If you're looking for where to buy the RTX 4070 today, we're here to make your search much easier. RTX 4070 preorders are coming online early today, possibly from around 9 a.m. ET /2 p.m. BST, but we'd be prepared to check out our RTX 4070 stock search results beforehand as some listings are online now and we're just waiting for that 'buy' button to activate.

In the world of PCs, there are few products more valuable than an Nvidia RTX graphics card. They're a central component for the best gaming PCs, bitcoin rigs, AI servers, and more. Nvidia's new graphics card starts at $599, making it the cheapest option in its RTX 40-series. Despite the lower price, it'll still support 1440p screens and 4K quality, as well as modern graphical features like ray tracing.

For the last few years, buying a GPU for actual retail price has been incredibly hard, as scalpers buy up the existing stock to sell for higher prices. And although the GPU shortage has gotten better recently, you'll still need to act fast if you want to buy an RTX 4070 on release day for the best price.

Take a look below to see links to stores to where we'll be looking out for RTX 4070 stock. Some have listings ready and you should be able to buy them from 9am ET. We are finding that the older (and much more expensive) RTX 4070 Ti cards are being included in some search results, so look out for those.

Where to buy an RTX 4070 (USA)

Best Buy has had a great record over the last few GPU launches and is the first of the big box stores you should be checking out. It currently has the official Nvidia card in waiting and third-party options have started to appear too (we have a list below). B&H Photo also seems to be building up a strong lineup of partner cards.

Newegg has been a little slow off the mark today. Initially only listing two cards at over $1000, but the PC hardware specialists have started to show a longer list of SKUs now, with many at much more sensible prices. B&H Photo has a range starting at $599 and running up to $999. Best Buy is sticking to the recommended $599 on its base Nvidia listings for now, so that would be our first port of call as they have plenty of options at that price - other configs have started appearing there too.

Amazon always seem to take the day off on GPU launch days, and we're not expecting it to get stock to be honest, likewise with Walmart. Both will start selling them eventually, but we'd be checking the other stores on our list first as they at least have listings prepped. Nvidia hasn't given any indication of how many 4070 GPUs it has manufactured, meaning that stock could run out quickly.

Here's a list of direct US SKUs for you to browse; we'll keep adding them as we find them:

Where to buy an RTX 4070 (UK)

We're expecting all of the UK stores to get RTX 4070 stock at some point today, with the possible exception of Amazon as it seems to be one of the few areas of electronics retail where it's slow to react. Most of the others already have placeholder stock raring to go, presumably from around 2 p.m. BST. Do look out for random Ti and other older models being sprinkled in amongst the RTX 4070 preorders though; we've filtered them down via the links above as much as is possible at those stores.

Every RTX 4070 purchase also comes bundled with a free Overwatch 2 Ultimate Battle Pass, and 1,000 Overwatch 2 coins. Both of these usually cost $40 together.
