He graduated from the University of Illinois as a dual major. He received dual-degrees in both Political Science and Communications. At the end of the 2022 regular season, he earned significant playing time while stepping in for an injured Lamarcus Joyner, and was praised by his coach Robert Saleh for his playing ability.
